O título deste post foi tirado de uma frase da música Free Life, faixa-título do primeiro disco solo do Dan Wilson. Nada pode ser mais intenso do que música. E quando ela é entregue de forma passional e verdadeira, a experiência torna-se transcedental.
Pois foi isso que aconteceu na noite de ontem no Factory Theatre, uma espécie de depósito em Marrackville, um bairro de classe média baixa de Sydney, que me lembrou aquelas mecânicas chinelas na OSCAR PEREIRA. Entrando no local, porém, a atmosfera era outra. Belas cortinas de veludo e um foyer muito acolhedor, com barris de vinho servindo de mesas.
Aproximadamente DEZ das trinta pessoas estão na foto.
Depois de um show de abertura bem irregular, com um cara no estilo TROVADOR Bob Dylan/Neil Young (pior raça que existe), Dan Wilson entrou no palco enquanto eu comprava uma cerveja. Perdi a entrada, mas voltei a tempo de pegar o começo da primeira música, Easy Silence. O público, de aproximadamente TRINTA PESSOAS, respondia friamente, sem cantar ou se mexer nas cadeiras.
BIGODE e DAN
Foi só a partir do momento em que ele tocou Secret Smile ("sonhei com essa música e quando acordei ela já estava pronta") que os aplausos deixaram de ser vergonhosos. Emendando com o clássico Closing Time, quando ele contou uma ótima história e revelou que a música é uma homenagem ao nascimento da filha dele e nunca ningúem entendeu, as coisas começaram a ficar mais ORGÂNICAS no local.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it'll do even better in those areas, but for now it's a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod's strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.
