Tenho sérios problemas com expectativas. Sou aquele tipo de pessoa que joga a expectativa lá pra cima em qualquer situação e quando as coisas não saem como eu imaginei, me frustro horrores.
Juro que sempre penso "na próxima vez, não vou criar grandes esperanças de que vai ser legal", mas acabo cometendo o mesmo erro, não adianta.
Mas quando acontece o oposto e sou surpreendido, é bom demais. MUITO BOM.
E foi o que aconteceu ontem no Teatro do Sesi, nos shows do Renato e seus Blue Caps e Golden Boys. Dizer que foram os melhores shows do ano e provavelmente os melhores que já vi na vida seria pouco. Mas então, o que falar? Talvez comentar o repertório, a beleza das músicas e dos arranjos. Mas ainda não seria o suficiente.
Acho que o melhor é dar um exemplo de um fato ocorrido durante o show do Renato e seus Blue Caps. Uma hora eles pararam o show e abriram pra perguntas do público, colocando um microfone na boca do palco. Eram pra ser apenas cinco perguntas, mas acabaram sendo feitas umas quinze.
Um senhor vai ao microfone e diz que veio de Canela só pra ver o show, pois a banda é a coisa mais importante na vida dele, marcou todos os momentos importantes. "Eu amo vocês", repetiu umas três vezes. E emendou: "Vocês moram no meu coração, na minha alma, no meu espírito", visivelmente emocionado. Meus olhos ficaram marejados e olhei pra cima, agracendo por estar ali.
E o fato de saber que consegui ver um show do Renato e seus Blue Caps exatamente 40 anos depois de o meu pai tê-los visto aqui em Porto Alegre só torna tudo ainda mais significativo.
Gostaria que os meus filhos um dia pudessem ter essa mesma experiência que eu tive. Infelizmente, sei que vai ser impossível, já que não há banda representativa o suficiente hoje pra que eles possam admirar daqui a quatro décadas, muito menos a banda há mais tempo em atividade no mundo (sim, isso é verdade).
Mas só de ter presenciado aquelas cenas íncríveis e depois ver o brilho nos olhos do meu pai ao contar como foi, sei que as minhas expectativas foram superadas de uma forma que nunca mais vou esquecer.
Acho que finalmente aprendi que criar expectativa às vezes não é tão ruim. Muito pelo contrário.

Talvez tenha faltado dizer que é de rock, mesmo com todas as variações possíveis.
Os próprios Golden Boys estão na ativa há mais tempo. Mas são um grupo vocal.
Não sei como chamar o Demônios da Garoa, mas certamente não é uma banda no mesmo sentido do Renato e seus Blue Caps.

I read the content on websites when I leave a short review. If I have got zilch to say of the write-up topic, I wont leave any evaluations. This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like 'Mixview' that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you're listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of "neighbors" will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune "Social" is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

Good luck getting people behind this one. Though you make some VERY fascinating points, youre going to have to do more than bring up a few things that may be different than what weve already heard. What are trying to say here? What do you want us to think? It seems like you cant really get behind a unique thought. Anyway, thats just my opinion.

I feel like you could probably teach a class on how to make a great blog. This is fantastic! I have to say, what really got me was your design. You certainly know how to make your blog more than just a rant about an issue. Youve made it possible for people to connect. Good for you, because not that many people know what theyre doing.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass' favor.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it'll do even better in those areas, but for now it's a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod's strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

If you're still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you'll know which is right for you.
