Janeiro acabou e eu esqueci de escrever sobre os 15 anos do MAIOR FESTIVAL JA REALIZADO NO RIO GRANDE DO SUL. Sim, muito maior do que o Planeta Atlantida, acreditem.
No dia 21 de janeiro de 1994 (se nao me falha a memoria), aconteceu na PRAIA DO BARCO - pertencente ao municipio de CAPAO DA CANOA - o M2000 SUMMER CONCERTS, um festival que tambem se estendeu a Florianopolis, Santos e Rio de Janeiro. Com uma escalacao absurdamente ecletica e sendo DE GRACA, o M2000 foi uma aula de surrealismo na beira da praia, literalmente no meio do nada.
Sai a pe do centro de Capao da Canoa com mais dois amigos, numa bela caminhada rumo ao desconhecido (nunca tinha pisado na Praia do Barco na minha vida). Chegamos cedo e ainda nao tinha muita gente por la, o que nos permitiu explorar a area. O palco era enorme, nao devendo nada pra outros festivais. Ao todo, foram sete atracoes que tocaram do comeco da tarde ate o comeco da madrugada, mas minha memoria nao conseguiu resgatar a ordem exata.
Pra ser sincero, uma das atracoes tambem me escapa. Ja tentei resgatar em conversa com o Bruno (uma das poucas pessoas que sei que tambem estava la), mas falhamos miseravelmente. Alguem poderia argumentar que uma busca pelo Google nao custa nada e eu concordaria na hora. Porem, reparem que NAO EXISTEM INFORMACOES sobre o festival na Internet. Justica seja feita: ate existem links (poucos, eh verdade) sobre o festival em Santos e alguma coisa no Rio de Janeiro. Mas de Capao da Canoa (desculpem, PRAIA DO BARCO), nada. Zero. Vazio.
Um que outro blog menciona lembrancas pessoais do evento, mas sem citar a data ou a escalacao das bandas. "YouTube, quem sabe?", alguem pode dizer. YEAH, RIGHT. Nao ha um misero video arquivado, ainda mais sobre um tempo em que cameras digitais eram obra de FICCAO CIENTIFICA. A nao ser que alguem tivesse levado sua filmadora VHS pra pegar MARESIA NAS BOBINA (ns), arrisco dizer que NINGUEM tem registro desse festival.
Por isso, fica mais dificil ainda de lembrar qual a primeira atracao do dia. Pode ter sido CIDADAO QUEM, como tambem pode ter sido outra. Sei que eles foram um dos primeiros a tocar, o que pra mim nao fez diferenca, ja que nao prestei atencao no show. Hoje me arrependo afu, pois eh uma das melhores bandas que o BOVINAO ja produziu. Na epoca eu so ouvia SOM DE MACHO e nao devia curtir o VIES POETICO de Duca Leindecker e cia.
A segunda atracao eh uma incognita, visto que pode ter sido a propria Cidadao ou outra banda. Agradeco encarecidamente se alguem usar os comentarios pra dizer quem foi. Na sequencia, creio que DR. SIN subiu ao palco. Novamente, pra mim nao fez a menor diferenca, ja que nao estava interessado no virtuosismo de Eduardo Ardanuy e seus companheiros. Hoje assistiria ao show com interesse, sem duvida.
A tarde comecava a cair (nao sei se eh verdade, mas soa bonito) quando - acho - ROBIN S. subiu ao palco. Sim, ela mesma, cantora de sucessos como Show Me Love e... bem, Show Me Love. Alguns podem achar que ela eh uma novata, ja que essa musica voltou as paradas com tudo ano passado. Mas foi em 1994, quando EURODANCE WAS KING, que ela apareceu e botou tudo mundo pra dancar. Menos eu, claro, que achava tudo aquilo ridiculo. Ironicamente, varios anos depois seria eu o responsavel por reviver Robin S. e outros artistas da epoca nas famigeradas Chinelagens Fabicanas. ENFIM.
A partir da quinta atracao, a ordem eh 100% correta, comecando com ninguem menos do que DEBORAH BLANDO, a MADONNA DO MAMPITUBA. Confesso que nao lembro muito do show, pois passei o tempo dividido entre olhar pras pernas da moca (o shortinho dela era menor que um CINTO) e xinga-la de nomes impublicaveis junto com a MASSA METALEIRA, num comportamento digno de estadio de futebol. Nenhum sentido, eu sei, mas a mente de um rapaz de 14 anos nao pensa por si propria.
Acabada a apresentacao da loirosa, surgiu algo ainda mais tenebroso: FITO PAEZ, a versao argentina de Herbert Vianna. Lembro de xinga-lo ainda mais do que a pobre Deborah, enquanto ele tentava extravasar lirismo com seu teclado e seu sotaque de quem come CHURROS na frente do GUT-GUT (ns). Mais uma vez, gostaria de poder ter visto aquele show com a minha mente de hoje, ele ate que tem boas musicas.
Pois eis que na CALADA NOITE PRETA (LEONEL, Vange) o pessoal do HELMET entrou no palco e minha presenca naquele fim de mundo finalmente se justificou. Eu era fa da banda, sabia o Meantime de cabo a rabo, mas nao lembro exatamente das musicas tocadas. Talvez porque assim que o show comecou e o pau comeu com rodas de pogo por todos os lados, eu sai de MOONWALKER e assisti ao show de longe.
Aquele era o meu primeiro SHOW DE ROCK na vida e a violencia gratuita da gurizada me apavarou. Meus amigos se meteram no meio da massa e sairam de la com hematomas, mas felizes da vida. Eu tambem sai feliz, mesmo que nao tenha SUADO COM A GALERA. Aquele era o meu jeito de curtir o show, por mais cagao que parecesse aos olhos dos amigos. Quando era um pouco mais velho, comecei a ir em shows e pogar junto, eventualmente ficando sem ar e voltando pra casa roxo. Mas naquele dia na beira da praia, so o fato de estar assistindo a diversas atracaoes nacionais e internacionais pela primeira vez ja me bastava.
Ate porque, dois anos depois, um outro festival surgiria no Estado e se consolidaria como a maior atracao para os jovens gauchos. So que dessa vez, nada seria de graca e a Praia do Barco nao passaria de uma lembranca para os afortunados que la presenciaram a historia sendo feita.

Um dos maiores dias da minha vida. Aquela roda de pogo no show do Helmet foi maior que a peregrinacao a Meca [ns].

A segunda era Dr. Sin. Helmet eu não gostei. Odiava a Deborah Blando (preferia ELA à MUSICA DELA), mas achei muito bom o show. Fito Paez já era ruim na época.
Foi um baita show. Tinha música pra literalmente todo mundo. Uma banda tu adorava, a outra nem tanto e a outra tu odiava, e começava tudo de novo.
Porra... eu to ficando velho.

Só vi esse texto agora, quase um ano depois (logicamente, enquanto procurava informações do festival que está quase completando 16 anos). Sei que provavelmente ninguém vai ler meu comentário, mas tudo bem. Eu preciso dizer que estava lá na Praia do Barco nesse dia e sei qual atração está faltando: Anything Box, um trio technopop que parecia o Information Society. Mas conseguia ser ainda pior.

SHOW DE BOLA!!!
Hoje eu me lembrei desse espetáculo que foi o M2000 Summer Concerts e resolvi procurar na net.
Muito feliz fiquei ao encontrar esta página.
Eu e um amigo(Alemão Louco) fomos até a Praia do Barco de carona desde Cachoeirinha até Capão da Canoa. Depois, de lá, seguimos a pé até a bendita praia. Com uma mochila nas costas, muita cara de pau, uma puta vontade de ir curtir o Helmet ao vivo(fomos até lá só pra ver o helmet), míseros reais no bolso e muitas lembranças de tudo que aprontamos nesta viagem que foi ir até lá e voltar somente de carona, dormir na rua, beber, conhecer gente nova(inclusive duas gatas muito loucas)e aprontar muito.
A roda de pogo foi muito a fudê. participamos e ajudamos a galera a quebrar tudo(inclusive a nós mesmos).
Hoje estou com 36 anos, moro em Canoas/RS e esta é uma das melhores lembranças que tenho de minha juventude que por sinal, foi MUITO LOUCA e BATANTE INTENSA!!!
Salve a todos que tem lembranças deste e outros festivais da época e que como eu, até hoje sentem o sangue pulsar mais forte na veia quando toca um hardcore.

Tenho 32 anos e já passei por mentiroso quando falei que Robin S. tocou na praia (aqui no RS), mas a lembrança foi inesquecível, pois eu sempre gostei de musica eletronica e, naquela época, nem sabia quem ou o que era Robin S. Muito bom o tópico. Valeu!

Meu primeiro show também. Era inacreditável que minha banda favorita da época estava lá também. A peregrinação também de Capão foi algo inacreditável.
E CHOVEU !!!!!!!!
A chuva começou quando o Fito Paez saia do palco e com ele, todos os argentinos e as famílias que ali estavam, porque dali pra frente a cobra ia fumar. Não lembro de seqüência nenhuma de músicas e mais nenhum detalhe. Assisti maravilhado aquilo tudo sem saber o que acontecia comigo. Foi só o gatilho inicial. Desde então, até hoje (33 anos) eu peregrino atrás de meus músicos favoritos, nem que tenha que pegar um avião para estar lá.
Com certeza, o show que mudou a nossa história. Depois disso, a decadência. Sorte de quem viveu a era pré-Planeta.

I'll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

Eu também estava lá neste dia, na Praia do Barco. Uma pena que realmente não existam informações a respeito deste show. Lembro das bandas ( Cidadão Quem, Dr. Sin, Anything Box, Deborah Blando,Robin S, Fito Paez e Helmet) pq tinha anotado na minha agenda! Lembro do grande congestionamento, mas achava que era um show pré-Planeta Atlântida, pq no caminho escutava na rádio anunciando os shows q teriam naquela noite. Enfim, boas lembranças deste dia!

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it'll do even better in those areas, but for now it's a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod's strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.
